The documents contain applications for fellowships in 1945, 1946, and 1947 for Harold William Woodson. The applicant was granted 1,800 dollars in 1945 to develop an improved microbiological method for the assay of B complex vitamins. However, the 1946 application to continue work toward the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Chemistry, and the 1947 application to develop and improve microbiological assay methods for determining amino acids in body fluids, were not granted.
