A 1944 application for Letitia Christine Woods for a 1 year grant from 1944 to 1945. The plan of work was to do a full year of graduate study in history with a probable research project on the social, economic, and political history of the Negro in Ohio from the earliest days of settlement through the nineteenth century, then return to the current position as Instructor in history, Lemoyne College, Memphis, Tennessee. Also wishes to pursue a Ph.D. at Ohio State University under the guidance of Professor Simms.
