An application from Elmer Jerome Whiting, Jr, requesting a grant from June 1948 through February 1951 to study law for the Ohio CPA exam. In order to practice accounting and do business counseling. Wishes to work toward the LLB degree at the School of Law, Western Reserve University, under the supervision of Dean C. M. Finfrock. Included is a handwritten evaluative note on the application. It assigns a grade of C and contains a brief written assessment, including the phrase “a worthy, deserving case.” Other portions of the note are present but are not fully legible.
