An application from Jametta Isadora White in 1946, requesting a grant for one year beginning in June to complete requirements for entrance into a music conservatory and a graduate student towards a degree of Master of Music in Organ, then seek a position as an organ instructor in a music school. Included is a handwritten evaluative note on the application. It assigns a grade of C and contains a brief written assessment, including the phrase “good, competent young woman.” Other portions of the note are present but are not fully legible.
