An application from George Henry Walker, Jr., a teacher of Remedial Reading and Education at Southern University Scotlandville, Louisiana, in 1948, requesting a one year grant beginning July, approximating perfection in the operation of the Remedial Reading Clinic-Workshop, which is a functional attempt to diagnose and treat Dyslexia as found in the pre-service and in-service teachers, and other works. Wishes to work toward Ed.D. at Columbia University under the supervision of Dr. Ruth M. Strang. Included is a handwritten evaluative note assigning a grade of B and providing a brief assessment of the application.
