A 1939 application file for Melvin Ernest Thompson, a Director of Teacher Training. He was granted 2,000 dollars to set up and demonstrate a plan for the coordination of the various governmental organizations in the state of Georgia, which conduct educational functions into one comprehensive educational program, which should more efficiently serve the state in the solution of problems of the people of Georgia. Included are a memorandum summarizing the grants awarded and an evaluative note that assigns a grade of A and includes a written assessment of the application.
