The plan of work was to acquaint teachers and students who will be citizens with the proper use of the ballot and acquaint them with the conditions faced in voting, and to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Education and Social Science at Northwestern University under the supervision of Dr. Joe Parks. This application was submitted in 1948, and the chosen field is Education. Included is a handwritten note: This seems to me poor marriage of action program plus MA research [illegible].
