The plan of work was to improve ways for communicating ideas in the fields of Human Relations and Religion, and to obtain either a Ph.D. degree or a Master of Arts degree at New York University under the supervision of Dr. H.H. Giles and F. Wale. This application was submitted in 1948, and the chosen field is Education. Included is a handwritten note: Good person in the village of Carrollton. Pretty hard for me to get [illegible].
