Description
A 1948 application review for Myron F. Lewis, an Assistant Regional Housing Economist. He sought funding to finish his Ph.D. research in sociology at the University of North Carolina. Handwritten notes express uncertainty and hesitation, stating he was not born in the south, but might make a career there. The note also comments on poor recommendations from his professors stating that some of them was worse than lukewarm.
