-
Description
-
A 1943 and 1944 application file for Catherine Elizabeth Lewis, a graduate student at the University of Chicago. She requested funding to study Negro women in selected industries. The file notes she previously received a Rosenwald Scholarship Aid of $500 in 1943-44. Handwritten notes on the 1944 application describe the project as good but remark that she is pretty young for any really independent study.
