Title
Granted Application for Leake Marcelotte
Description
A 1942 application file for Marcelotte Leake, a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma. She was granted $1,500 to study ethnobotany at Radcliffe College. Handwritten notes describe her as very young, and suggest letting her come back. Another note from 1943 states she was an excellent person, but expressed doubts about the scope of her project stating it was too far from the center of our interests, though the grant was approved.
