Description
An Application from Ullmont Lenhardt James, requesting a nine-month grant beginning September 1945 to obtain a Doctor's degree at the University of Chicago. Mr. James reapplied for another one-year grant beginning September 1947, towards making a critical analysis of current practices and principles in the area of School dministration, while working in the Department of Education at New York University. Included is a memorandum summarizing the grant awarded to Mr. James, and a handwritten note.
