An application from Otto Hollaway, requesting a nine-month grant towards a project, The High School Adjusting to Pupil and Community Needs, while obtaining a Ph.D. degree at Peabody College under Dr. Henry Harap. Mr. Hollaway requested another fifteen-month grant, beginning in June 1948, to study school practices in Alabama and to obtain an Ed.D. degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. Included is a memorandum summarizing the 1942 grant awarded to Mr. Holland, and handwritten notes.
