An application from Henry Aaron Hill, requesting a two-year grant in September 1940 to test Van't Hoff's Superposition Principle, and to obtain a Ph.D. degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology under Dr. Robert C. Hockett. Mr. Hill reapplied for another one-year grant beginning June 1941. Included are a memorandum summarizing the grants awarded to Mr. Hill, a record of his professional career, and a handwritten note.
