An application from Robert Harris, requesting a one-year grant beginning June 1945 to do intensive piano study with Oscar Wagner (Dean of Juilliard Graduate School) and Mme. Wanda Landowska. Mr. Harris reapplied for another ten-month grant beginning June 1946, and he reapplied for another ten-month grant beginning June 1948, towards a survey of keyboard music by Brazilian and American Negro composers. Included is a memorandum summarizing the grant awarded to Mr. Harris, and handwritten notes.
