An application from Zitman Oscar Gill, requesting a two-and-a-half-year grant in 1942 to gain proficiency in teaching mathematics, in General Education, and in Curriculum Building along progressive lines in which subjects as such are being gradually outmoded and integrated programs are being planned more nearly to approach community needs and interests. This is to obtain a Master of Arts degree under Dr. J. Clark and a Ph.D. degree under Dr. W.D. Reeve at Teachers College, Columbia University. Included is a handwritten note regarding the application.
