Applications from John Bunyan Eubanks, requesting a grant for 1945-46 to analyze recent trends in the religion of the American Negro, 1865-1944. This was to be done while working toward a Ph.D. at the University of Chicago under the supervision of Dr. Haydon. Mr. Eubanks also applied in 1942 to study Philosophy of History at Indiana University. Included are handwritten notes.
