A Written Addendum and Fellowship Application from Frances Elizabeth Champion. The grant was awarded in September 1948 to study the influence of standards and places of living and cultural backgrounds upon consumer purchasing habits and preferences, and the implication of these for improved teaching of clothing at various educational levels, in order to work towards an M.A. degree in the Department of Home Economics under Dr. Helen Judy Bond at Teachers College, Columbia University. Included are handwritten notes regarding the applications.
