An application from William Abel Caudill, requesting a grant for 1946 to study intensively the adjustment of a diversified group of Pacific Coast Japanese Americans who are now residing together in the disorganized neighborhood of North Clark Street in Chicago. This is to obtain a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. degree at the University of Chicago under the supervision of Dr. W. Lloyd Warner. Included is a handwritten note.
