An application from Calvin Waller Burnett, requesting a one-year grant for 1946. The plan of work was to do graduate work in painting and illustration at Yale University under the supervision of Mr. Savage and Mr. York. Mr. Burnett reapplied for another one-year grant for 1948 towards preparing a portfolio and experimenting in mixed aqueous mediums. Included is a handwritten note.
