An application from John Harrsion Becker, Jr., requesting a 1-year grant. The plan was to work with the American Council of race Relationbs and the CIO National Committee to Abolish Racial Discrimination towards gaining basic understanding of methods of handling race relations problems and to enable him to gain practical experience in the use of these methods. This application was submitted in 1945, and the chosen field is Race Relations. Also included is a memorandum summarizing a grant awarded to Mr. Becker in 1945, as well as a handwritten note: "[illegible] He had only a moderate [illegible]".
