Description
A memorandum summarizing the grant awarded to Fredrik Schenker Barkalow, Jr., project leader for the Inventory of Wildlife Resources of Alabama. The applicant was awarded $1400 for the completion of all major requirements for the Ph. D. degree in Zoology, and the doctoral dissertation to be, A Life History Study of the Cotton Rat, at the University of Michigan. Work was postponed for one year so that Mr. Barkalow might serve with the Coast Artillery Corps.
