-
Description
-
Correspondence from Mr. William C. Haygood to Mr. Gould Beech reporting that he has agreed to help with fellowships. The committee weeded out 191 candidates, reducing the list to only include those who have been awarded grants or are marked for further consideration. Special outside juries judge painting, creative writing, photography, and music, and the committee awards as many awards as it sees fit. White southern artists are sent to Mr. Beech for special interest and consideration.
