Including information on the judges, the Art jury, which include Mr. Peppino Mangravite, Mr. Frank Machau, and Mr. Arunzio Malderelli, and notes in that Mr. Arna Bontemps would replaced Mr. Herschel Brickell as the Literary critic, and tthat he Music composition critic would be Mr. William Grant Still. In addition, Ms. Paula Snelling and Ms. Lillian would interview the Scholarship Aid candidates, and present the candidates at the Hampton meeting. Candidates included Mr. frank Goodwyn, Mr. Edward Dreyer, Mr. Jacob Lawrence, Mr. Charles White, Mr. Joseph Delaney, Ms. Esther Worden Day, Mr. Lamar Baker, Mr. Gordon Parks, Mr. Louise Meixner Beadel, Mr. John Ansley Griffin, and Mr. James Wesley Silver.
